What do I need to do to ensure my tablet updates?

  • Make sure the device is on charge
  • Make sure WIFI is enabled and connected to ensure the updates are pushed through without using mobile data
  • Make sure ALL tablets in your office are switched on and WIFI enabled also. Even the ones hiding in your draw/cupboard as if they are used at any point in the future, they will need to be updated separately


How will I know when my tablet has been updated?

  • Go to the home kiosk screen of the tablet
  • Click on Charity app
  • If it loads up and shows a previous version other than XXXX - the tablet hasn't been updated yet.
  • If it does show the latest version (XXXX), then the app is good to go.


What do I do if my APP hasn't updated?

  • First thing to do is to check to see if the new app shows in App catalogue. Maas360 > App Catalogue > XXXX
  • If the app shows the text "Update" in the bottom right, click the option and click update.
  • This will force the update to take place. Make sure your on WIFI if you can.
  • Once the update has taken place you'll be able to open up the app from the main kiosk menu and login as normal


What do I do if the APP doesn't show an update pending on the tablet?

  • If the app doesn't show an update in app catalogue, you'll need to get in touch with the team at Chester
  • You can do this via email ipad@credico.uk.com providing the IMEI number of the tablet and best contact number
  • Phone:- 01244573150 asking for the tablet team 
  • When calling please mention "APP Update not showing" 


Useful things to have handy when calling Chester with any issues

  • IMEI Number - this can be found on the back of the tablet
  • Device ID - this can be found in Maas>settings>my device > the device ID will always start with: Android i.e Androidb5e4846ad905d2c0
